Hon.Uchenna Okafor and V.I.O Anambra state comand
The need to ensure easy vehicular movement on State roads has been stressed.

The Commissioner for Transport, Mr Uchenna Okafor stated this in an interview with the ABS in Awka.
The Commissioner, who maintained that the major problem hindering easy flow of traffic in major junctions and streets across the State is the commercial activities around the areas, said there is a dire need for various communities to distinguish between parks and bus stops so as not to turn bus stops into parks.
He noted that though Anambra state is the commercial nerve centre of West Africa, citizens must note that it is also the gateway to south east Nigeria and some of the South-South States.
The Commissioner urged all those trading on the streets to go into their markets since according to him, it is only when the roads are decongested that Governor Obiano's infrastructural achievements can be well appreciated.
Commissioner Okafor, promised that soon all the roads will be rid of pot holes for easy flow of traffic as he is synergizing with Ministries of works, Commerce and Wealth Creation, the Ocha Brigade, among others to help achieve the mission and vision of the Obiano administration.
