Governor Willie Obiano says his next four years will witness greater achievements than was recorded in his first term.

Governor Obiano made this known during a Eucharistic thanksgiving mass held at St Patrick’s Cathedral, Awka to mark his second term inauguration.
Governor Obiano explained that the mass was to thank God for his mercies that saw him through his first term and to seek his guidance and protection as he commences his second term. 
He pointed out that he is going to aggressively pursue the realization of all his developmental vision in his second term which he noted has the potential to transform the State.
The Governor solicited the prayers and support of all to make his dream of building a new Anambra of everyone's dream, come to reality.
In a homily, the Catholic Bishop of Awka Diocese, Most Reverend Paulinus Ezeokafor observed that despite winning reelection, Governor Obiano is still working, reminding him that there is room for improvement, as the people who gave him overwhelming support are expecting improved living conditions from him in the second term.
He spoke of God's willingness to enter into a new covenant of blessings and protection as he had with the Israelites in the Bible, with anyone who is faithful to him, urging Christians to live their lives in a way that will please God.
The mass which was officiated by the Archbishop of Onitsha Catholic Archdiocese, Most Reverend Valerian Okeke, was well attended by APGA members as well as friends and supporters of the Obiano administration.
