The State Government is working to complete installation of 6 traffic lights on some strategic roads before Christmas to ease traffic congestion during the festive period. 
Governor Willie Obiano disclosed this during the burial mass held at St Paul's Catholic Church, Obeledu in Anaocha Local Government Area for Mr Christopher Ejiofor, the father of the transition Committee Chairman for Anaocha Local government Area, Mr Ikeobi Ejiofor.

Governor Obiano who noted that due to the security thriving in the state, a lot of Ndi Anambra in the diaspora have disclosed their intention to come home for the yuletide celebrations, said his government had since commenced efforts that will guarantee a smooth celebration this season. 
He revealed that he is contact with the Delta State government to see how the state can do palliative works on the bad spots before the Niger Bridge so as to check the heavy gridlock usually experienced by travelers around the area. 
The governor also at the event expressed appreciation to people of Obeledu community and Anaocha Council Area for their massive support that ensured victory for him at the just concluded governorship election in the state. 
According to him, the overwhelming victory signifies the people's mandate to him to do more in line with his campaign slogan, "better today, greater tomorrow ", assuring them that he will not disappoint them.
He commiserated with the Ejiofor family and the Obeledu community over the loss and prayed for the repose of the soul of the deceased. 
Responding, the Anaocha Transition Committee Chairman, Mr Ejiofor expressed appreciation to governor Obiano for identifying with them during their period of grief.
