Obiano donates 10 Transformers to Obosi

as stakeholders vows to actualize his reelection
Gov Willie Obiano has met with the stakeholders of the Obosi Community in Idemili North Council area of Anambra state, where he donated ten(10) electricity transformers to the area.
The governor also used the occasion to disclose that his administration was spending over N2.4 billion naira to control the major erosion challenge at Odume layout in Obosi.
The meeting which was held at the instance of a stakeholder in the town, Chief Alex Chukwurah witnessed the endorsement of the Governor for a second term in office by the representatives of the villages in the community.
The visibly elated governor, while speaking to the crowd that gathered to receive him said that though it was costing the state huge amount of money, the state government was embarking on the erosion control project to salvage the pitiable condition of residents of the area.
He also announced that 10 transformers would be distributed to parts of the community and expressed happiness that the community had completed the two projects they nominated under the current choose-your-project community program and was on the verge of accessing the second tranche.
Gov Obiano retierated the need for Obosi community to support his administration in next month's guber election, said he is confident that the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) would win landslide.
The state Commissioner for Roads Infrastructure, Furniture and Maintenance, Chief Law Chinwuba revealed that by the next three months, the Odume layout erosion challenge would have been addressed while his Power and Domestic Water Development counterpart, Mr Obi Nwankwo hinted on the expansion of the Obosi injection power substation which the present administration is embarking on, reminding the people that to whom much is given much is expected.
The convener of the meeting, Chief Chukwurah assured the Governor that Obosi community is in support of his second term bid.
