Wife of the Governor, Chief Mrs. Ebelechukwu Obiano continues her Community Empowerment tour, with trips to Idemili North and South,

where she reassured the people that she remained unflinching in her drive towards putting lasting smiles on the faces of the needy in Anambra State.
Addressing a large crowd at each of the Councils' Headquarters, Chief Mrs Obiano maintained that her dreams for the state were predicated on equipping the people with the necessary tools for self-development and sustainable future.
She urged them to continue praying for leadership enrichment of the present administration and the success of the state, assuring that the Willie Obiano led government will not relent in taking the state to an enviable position.
Earlier in their opening speeches , the Transition Committee Chairman for Idemili North Council Area, Barrister Ralph Nnabuife, and his Idemili South counterpart, Chief Don Unachukwu, credited the Governor's wife's big-heartedness to her humane attributes and the desire to see people successful.
Also at the event, was an Imo State gubernatorial aspirant in the forthcoming 2019 elections under the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Prince Daniel Kalu, who said the benevolent traits of the APGA government provide a solid platform for him and a credible sign of good governance for the Imo people.
Other APGA stalwarts from the Council including, Chief Ifeanyichukwu Ibezim, Chief Augustine Chukwuka, and the Special Adviser to the Governor on Chieftaincy and Town Union Matters , Barrister Vera-Queen Okonkwo, applauded the landmark achievements of Chief Mrs Obiano, in economic empowerment and human capital development, noting that she will forever be remembered for her unprecedented virtues.
The tour to the local government areas was also graced by APGA National Women Leader, Mrs. Ada Nwanyanwu, Mrs. Nkoli Mmegbuaneze, representing Idemili North at the State House of Assembly, Princess Nikky Ugochukwu, representing Orumba South, Commissioner for Women, Children and Social Welfare, Lady Ndidi Mezue, the wife of the Deputy Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Mrs Sylvia Oseke, amongst others.
Highlights of the tours were the presentation of APGA uniform as symbol of membership and acceptance to Honourable Tony "One Week" Muonagor, who recently joined the party from the All Progressive Congress, APC, as well as presentation of bags of rice, school bags, reading and writing materials, mosquito nets, and cash to widows, children, and the physically impaired, to fifty-three people each from the twenty one towns in each of the council areas, by Chief Mrs Obiano.
