The Federal Government has declared Friday, June fifteen, and Monday, June eighteen as public holiday to celebrate the 2018 Eid-El-Fitr.

The Minister of Interior, Retired Lt.-Gen. Abdulrahman Dambazau announced this in Abuja in a statement issued by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Dr. M. Umari.
The statement enjoins Nigerians to use the occasion of the celebration to pray for peace, unity, prosperity and stability of the nation.
