State government has expressed determination in attracting foreign participants in the upcoming 2018 Anambra Trade Fair.

The Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment Mr. C-Don Adinuba, stated this when a team from the 2018 Anambra Trade Fair paid him a Courtesy Visit in his office at the Jerome Udoji secretariat in Awka.
Assuring the team of the state government’s participation and partnership, Mr. Adinuba explained that Anambra state has the largest concentration of people with quality human resources that can move the state to an enviable height.
Mr. Adinuba noted that Governor Willie Obiano recognizes the fact that foreign direct investment is an extension of model economic development in any nation thus his vision in rebranding Anambra to Dubai of Africa that will compete favourably in the globe.
Rolling out the Committee's plans ahead of the 2018 Trade Fair, the chairman of the Committee Mr. Chris Ukachukwu, announced that these year’s Anambra Trade fair will hold at Chuba Ikpeazu Stadium Onitsha because of the commercial nature of the area and would bring to play every sector of the state economy, and appealed for the support of the key stakeholders in the state to achieve their desired goals.
The team later made a stopover at the Ministry of Diaspora Affairs, Culture and Tourism and was received by the Commissioner Mrs Sally Mbanefo who commended the team for their quest in the promotion and development of the state Gross Domestic products, assuring their willingness in making the trade fair a success.
