The State government has re-assured of sustaining its partnership with the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC.

Governor Willie Obiano gave the assurance when he received, the new State Co-ordinator of the NYSC, Mr Kehinde Aremu, at the Government House, Awka.
Represented by his Deputy, Dr Nkem Okeke, Governor Obiano commended the scheme for serving as a launch pad for the youths who have passed through it over the years, to achieve their potential in life.
The Governor, who said that the State government has been supporting the scheme, expressed the hope that the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp at Umuawulu-Mbaukwu in Awka South Local government area will soon be ready.
Describing the youths as the leaders of tomorrow, Governor Obiano promised to help in making the scheme more effective and impact more on the youths to become better citizens.
Earlier, the new State Coordinator of the NYSC, Mr Aremu who described Anambra State as an entrepreneurship hub, announced his plan to draw a programme where corps members from other States can key into Anambra entrepreneurial spirit, to become self reliant.
The immediate past State Co-ordinator of the Scheme, Mr Ebenezar Olawole was part of the delegation.
