Launching of beam has commenced on the bridge situate at the road from Isuaniocha , through Urum Achalla linking communities in Anambra East council area.

During the inspection of the bridge at the Ezigboegwu River, situate at thirteen point two kilometers of the road in Achalla, Governor Willie Obiano promised more road constructions in various Communities of the State this second term of his administration.
The bridge is part of the sixteen point two kilometers road awarded by State government since two thousand and fourteen.
ABS observed that the road has been graded while engineers were seen mounting the beams with crane.
According to the Governor who spoke through the Deputy Governor, Dr Nkem Okeke, the project is one of the legacy projects of the present administration, describing the road as strategic as it will make for easier access to affected communities.
While expressing satisfaction with the level of professional conduct in handling the project, the Governor expressed optimism that the road will be completed before the next rainy season and assured of more infrastructural projects in communities across the State.
The Commissioner for Works, Engineer Marcel Ifejiofor, pointed out that the bridge costs about four hundred and fifty million naira and disclosed that about nine point three kilometers of the entire road has been completed.
The Chairman of the Construction Company handling the project, Chief Leo Ikeokoye, noted that the bridge had been their challenge, but with the launch of the beam, motorists will begin to driver to the other side of the road through the bridge in the next two months.
Chief Ikeokoye who assured that the project will be completed by the next Christmas holiday, urged State government not to relent in its support.
