Agency for Mass Literacy, Adult and Non Formal Education has directed its staff, Unit Heads, facilitators and learners to commence learning and reciting of the National and state Anthems as well as the state shared values.

Addressing Head of Units at the Agency’s Vocational Centre Awka, the Acting Executive Secretary and Director of the Agency, Mr. Donatus Nwosu urged them to commence immediate teaching and learning of the Anthems and shaved values at all Adult and Non formal Education Learning Centers in their localities.
Mr. Nwosu explained that this is part of measures to maintain and improve on their existing high moral and academic standard in the state under Governor Willie Obiano's administration.
He enjoined them to sustain awareness creation in markets, Churches and other social gathering to mobilize and sensitize people on the need to acquire education as well as ensure that all registered learners are equipped with quality academic excellence, urging them to work closely with the facilities in their areas.
Mr. Nwosu commended the Commissioner for Basic Education, Professor Kate Omenugha for her unrelenting efforts in the state which he noted has resulted to remarkable achievements.
Also speaking, one of the Unit Heads, Mrs Beatrice Nwosu said that they would remain committed and dedicated to duty to enable the Agency achieves the set target.
