The Nigerian electorate has been urged look beyond tribal sentiment in electing future leaders of the country.

Speaking on the ABS Radio Audience participatory Programme , "Anambra Talks,” a guest, Chief Mike Odumodu, said they should focus on content of character of individuals, antecedents, knowledge and experience in electing them to public offices.
Chief Odumodu stressed the need to elect leaders capable of stimulating and accelerating technological and industrial development of the country.
He explained that Asian Tigers broke the chain of colonization to copy and adapt European technology with which they are presently making inroads into many countries including some western countries .
Chief Odumodu noted that the technological development has enabled the Asian countries to effectively harness their large human resources to advantage and has maintained consistent policy thrust to consolidate on their achievements.
He stressed the need for the country to pursue viable economic system , controlled financial system and balance of trade among others.
