Some residents of Awka have continued to speak on their expectations from Governor Willie Obiano as he pilots the affairs of the state for another four years.

Political correspondent, Chukwuemeka Modilim, gathers the expectation of the people from the present administration and reports that Governor Obiano was sworn-in on seventeenth of this month to govern the state for another four years having won the November eighteenth Governorship election held in the state last year.
While commending the Governor for doing well in his first term, Political Scientist, Professor Makaodi Nnabugwu, urged the present administration to create industrial layouts in parts of the state to create empowerment opportunities for the people, including research unit that will always gather data on what the people want from government to bring government nearer to the people.
Professor Makaodi also stressed the need for the present administration to construct a bridge between Water Board and Bishops Court to decongest Aroma junction among others.
On his part, Professor Uche Nwaogwugwu of Economics Departments Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, enjoined Governor Obiano to sustain his progress in Education, Agriculture, and security.
He also urged the Governor to construct more roads across the state, build roundabouts at strategic areas in Awka and plant trees around them to beautify the capital city.
A motorist, Mr. Titus Ezeanoro, appealed to the present administration to rehabilitate all non -functional public boreholes in the state to guarantee constant water supply to the people.
