Motorists have been advised to imbibe safety consciousness and obey traffic laws to reduce accident to barest minimum.

The State Sector Commander Federal Road Safety Corps Mr. Sunday Ajayi gave the advice while speaking to newsmen in Awka.
The Sector Commander who commended Governor Willie Obiano for championing the cause of road safety in the state, noted that the Command has worked out modalities to ensure safety measures on the high ways this Easter and always.
He urged the motoring public to obey the traffic laws by showing considerations to other road users assuring that FRSC operatives are very proactive.
Mr. Ajayi appealed to them to continue to give their cooperation and support to the Corps to reduce crashes to barest minimum, as according him road safety is a collective responsibility. 
He further reminded them that right to life on the high way is not negotiable ,advising them not to drive while drunk, shun the use of cell phones when driving and say no to overloading among other dangerous habits that lead to crashes.
